Muffins

Muffins 

 

Ingredients:  

  • 500 ml all purpose flour  

  • 65 ml sugar 

  • 15 ml baking powder  

  • 1 ml salt  

  • 1 egg, well beaten  

  • 5 ml vanilla  

  • 250 ml milk  

  • 65 ml vegetable oil  

 

 

Method:  

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C)  

  1. Line a muffin tin with 12 paper baking cups. Set aside.  

  1. In a medium bowl, sift the first four ingredients. Set aside.  

  1. Choose from the list below a type of muffin desired. Prepare accordingly.  

  1. Make a well in the dry ingredients. Pour all liquid ingredients in and stir until just moistened. Batter will be lumpy.  

  1. Spoon batter into prepared muffin cups filling 2/3 full. Wipe off any batter on the pan before baking  

  1. Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown.  

  1. Remove immediately from pan. Serve warm.
